This just in....LA musican Michael Teoli who has been music assistant on such movies as
Columbus Day (2008); Cártel, El (2007) AND The Simpsons Movie (2007) has joined the team to bring Tonya and Nancy: The Rock Opera to the stage. He is presently writing the music and adapting some of the chamber opera's music for the stage version. Elizabeth Searle (book/liberrto) and Don Horn (script adaptation) are planning having a working script/score by mid November. With the show opening in Portland OR in February 2008. Casting will begin in October...who will be Nancy and Tonya?

Can you believe that in just 6 months...Tonya and Nancy will be back in the spot light? Yep, that's right they will be (okay, not THEM) but their lives will be back on the forefront in a new musical about them: TONYA AND NANCY: THE ROCK OPERA.
